Le «fil rouge» du séminaire sera, cette année, la notion de contexte requise pour décrire et expliquer les phénomènes que la littérature contemporaine range sous le chef de la structure informationnelle et/ou de la sémantique illocutoire. Les séances seront réparties en trois séquences. La première devrait permettre aux étudiants de suivre l'atelier «Dialogue» avec J. Ginzburg, organisé les 9 et 10 mars 2005. La seconde sera consacrée aux phrases non déclaratives et la troisième au sens de l'intonation.

Section 1 : Modéliser le contexte (introduction à l'atelier Ginzburg)

Cours 1 (8 février) :

La notion de contexte de Stalnaker à Ginzburg. La distinction assertion / présupposition et la notion de common ground. Les contextes défectifs / non défectifs. Croyances et commitment. Sémantique dynamique vs sémantique dialogique.

Cours 2 (15 février) :

Les articulation(s) de l'énoncé : Fond (= Ground, Background, Présupposition telle que défini par Jackendoff) / Focus. Thème / Rhème tel que défini par Steedman. Thème de phrase et thème de discours (Cf Roberts et Büring). Les mouvements discursifs ou dialogiques.

Introduction à la sémantique du dialogue de Ginzburg (I).

Programme : exposés de J. Ginzburg et R. Fernandez.

Session 2 : interprétation des parenthétiques et des mots du discours dans le dialogue.
